About the end-of-life products

Since January 1st, 2007, we have stipulated about the end-of-life e-Parcel products. Please carefully note that we perform maintenance of the e-Parcel products for five years from the date of the final release of each product.

The followings explain the end of maintenance products (End-of-life products).

Treatment of the end-of-life products

The end of maintenance products (End-of-life products) are treated as the followings.

After the maintenance period was expired, the end-of-life products are available to continuously use as usual.

However, if some problems will occur on the end-of-life products, we may ask you to upgrade to the latest product or replace with the substitute product before cause investigation.

In the case of new products developed or new functions provided, we do not verify to be compatible with the end-of-life products. Therefore, all or some functions on the end-of-life products may be dysfunctional without prior notice.

We recommend your ID registration to migrate to the new e-Parcel server

(Required: The procedure for migration of ID registrations)

Users of the products supported by the existing e-Parcel server (the end-of-life products) are recommended to newly install the product supported by the new e-Parcel server (VCN-CommCenter 8.0, VCN-AX 5.0/4.0). However, please be sure that the products supported by the existing e-Parcel server are not compatible with the products supported by the new e-Parcel server. For example, VCN-CommCenter 6.0 is not compatible with VCN-CommCenter 8.0. (Unavailable data communication) Therefore, the ID registrations for both senders and recipients are required to migrate from the existing e-Parcel server to the new e-Parcel server in advance.
